About Wavefinity

Hi, I'm Nathan Malone. I started Wavefinity in March 2025 to give small businesses in Eagle and Summit County the kind of IT support I'd want if I ran one: one person who picks up the phone, knows your setup, and fixes things properly the first time.

I've spent 20 years in tech, working for large enterprises and for local IT companies here in the valley. Wavefinity puts all of that to work for businesses that want a real technician they can call, not a faceless help desk.

Came for the Winter, Stayed for the Summer

I came to the Vail Valley in 1997 for one ski season. Like a lot of people up here, I fell for the place and never left. The winters got me here, but it was the summers that made me stay.

Since then I've worked in tech at every scale, from enterprise environments to the small offices, shops, and nonprofits that make this valley run. I live in Minturn, so most of my clients are a short drive away.

How I Work

My goal is IT that's secure, stable, and easy to understand.

You deal with me

When you call or text, you reach the person who set up your systems. There's no ticket queue and no handoffs.

Cloud only

I support businesses that run on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, with no servers in the closet. Fewer moving parts means faster fixes and less to break.

Security comes standard

Multi-factor sign-in, properly configured email, and Huntress Managed EDR on every supported computer, watched around the clock by Huntress's security team.

Everything gets written down

Every client's environment is documented, so nothing lives only in my head.

I check before I change

Before I touch anything that's live, I verify the change against the vendor's documentation. It's slower, and it's why things don't break.

Plain English

You'll always know what's wrong and what I'm doing about it, without the jargon.

Who I'm a Good Fit For

Small offices, nonprofits, and professional firms that keep regular business hours and want their IT handled without drama. If you need a 24/7 help desk, I'm probably not the right fit, and I'll tell you that up front.

Outside of Work

You'll find me hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, walking the dog, or just spending time by the river with some good music. I've been married for 16 years to another longtime local, and we can't imagine living anywhere else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

What are your support hours?

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Time. For clients on a monthly support plan, after-hours and weekend emergency support is available on a best-effort basis and billed at our emergency rate.

Do you support businesses with on-premises servers?

No. We specialize in cloud-based businesses that run on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. If you still have an on-premises server, we're happy to talk about moving you to the cloud.

How quickly do you respond to support requests?

Our typical response time is within one business day. Clients on a monthly support plan get same-day, priority response.

Do you offer one-time help or ongoing monthly support?

Both. We handle one-time fixes and projects, and our monthly plans provide the best value and priority service.
